Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) vs IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson and David Finlay

Straight out of the gate, the Guerrillas Of Destiny were aggressive, and taking the early advantage. It was pure dominance for a few minutes, but eventually David Finlay got him and Juice back into the match, but it wasn’t quite enough after Tonga connected with the Gun Stun for Guerrillas Of Destiny to pick up the victory.

CONCLUSION: 2.25 stars. Not a bad match, but certainly not a good one either, although I always like a Stun Gun! A spot or 2 were good, but nothing exciting.

Zack Sabre Jr. and Taka Michinoku vs Kota Ibushi and Yujiro Takahashi

ZSJ and Ibushi began, so that got everyone (including me!) fired up for this. Starts off VERY technical between the 2 wrestlers, but ZSJ ends up picking up the advantage for his team. However as the match progresses, momentum switched into Ibushi’s corner before making the tag out. As the match was reaching its climax, Ibushi thought he had Michinoku on the outside as Takahashi was about to connect his finisher, but ZSJ turned it into a Michinoku driver of his own to pick up the victory.

CONCLUSION: 3 stars. A fun, solid match with a good ending. Enjoyable all around! Definitely the match of the night so far.
