WWE WrestleMania 35: 5 dream matches we want to see
By Haydn Fox
4. Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey: RAW Women’s Championship
This match seems like it’s been pencilled in from the moment that Charlotte broke the undefeated streak of Asuka by making “The Empress Of Tomorrow” tap out at WrestleMania 34. To be honest, I would’ve preferred Asuka vs Ronda Rousey, and the result came with mixed reactions from the WWE Universe.
However, with it seeming more likely that Ronda Rousey could become RAW Women’s Champion at SummerSlam when she dethrones Alexa Bliss, this match could be another classic. Ronda has exceeded all expectations when we’ve seen her wrestle on TV in the Mixed Tag Team match at WrestleMania, then easily gave Nia Jax the best match of her career at Money In The Bank.
We all know Charlotte is one of the most talented women’s wrestlers on WWE’s roster. If you keep them away from one another until the actual match, with the potential of it headlining WrestleMania, this could be a intriguing match to see, and the build-up could be fantastic. Keep it a cross-brand match, too — it’s WrestleMania.
However, what I will say is if the match does go down, then WWE NEED to play this smartly, and in my opinion have Ronda Rousey win. Ronda is the star in this match, the main attraction, and having her lose would be just stupid. Ronda NEEDS to win this match, if this match takes place at WrestleMania 35.
