NXT is WWE’s best weekly show, bar none. The feuds are better, the wrestling is absolutely stellar, and the wrestlers themselves are some of the best in the world. These are five very likely candidates destined for megastardom after they graduate from the yellow brand.

WWE’s recent raids of indie talent have brought some of the best in the world to the NXT brand. Former independent figureheads such as Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Ricochet, and Candice LeRae have made WWE’s yellow show must-see television once again. The current era of NXT is second only to Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Samoa Joe’s time in the developmental territory. All of this begs the question…who can create the perfect storm?

It’s no big secret that NXT call-ups don’t always go as planned. Characters like Tyler Breeze, Tye Dillinger, and (probably) soon Bayley, who were tailor-made for NXT crowds absolutely floundered on the main roster.

That doesn’t change the fact, however, that Balor, Joe, and Nakamura have, for the most part, been able to weather the main roster storm. So who’s next in line? Who are the next call-ups that can find massive success on Raw and SmackDown Live? Let’s take a look at the NXT roster and make some predictions.
