Seth Rollins has been one of the WWE’s top stars in 2018, so it stands to reason he will have a big match at this year’s SummerSlam.

Few superstars have had a 2018 like Seth Rollins. After a fairly anonymous year in 2017, Rollins has reinvented himself as one of the WWE’s top babyfaces in 2018, having several match of the year candidates in the process.

Rollins’ run with the Intercontinental title just after WrestleMania 34 was a nice reminder to the fans of just how talented the former Shield man is between the ropes, causing some fans, myself included, to suggest that he should have been placed in the main event of SummerSlam 2018.

With Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley now taking that spot, however, it looks as though The Architect is going to have to find himself a new opponent for the WWE’s second biggest show of the year.

Rollins has proven time and time again throughout 2018 that he is capable of getting the best out of anyone in the ring and his match at SummerSlam should be billed as one of the biggest on the card. After failing to deliver in the main event of Extreme Rules, fans will be hoping Rollins can put on a spectacle in Brooklyn, so let’s take a look at three potential opponents for Seth Rollins at this year’s SummerSlam event.
