Night 4 of the NJPW G1 Climax sees Kenny Omega taking on Hirooki Goto and Tomohiro Ishii facing Tetsuya Naito.

Night 3 had Jay White getting a victory over Hiroshi Tanahashi, which was a major upset. Night 2 gave us Kenny Omega against Tetsuya Naito in an incredible match. NJPW will be sure to throw more upsets in our direction before the tournament is over.

Ren Narita & Michael Elgin vs. CHAOS (YOH & Jay White)

Elgin and White started this match, seeing Elgin trying to overpower White in the early portions. White is no slouch, however, as he chops quite hard. White didn’t want any of Elgin’s power, and tagged out quickly. Narita and YOH worked for a little bit, and White attacked Narita on the floor. YOH didn’t like this, but continued wrestling Narita. White got back in the ring to take on Narita, as he was much less of a threat than Elgin.

White couldn’t run from Elgin forever, but he managed to hold his own by hitting a Saito suplex. The commentators noted the death of Masa Saito, which was nice. YOH defeated Narita with a Boston crab.

Result: CHAOS

Rating: 2.5 stars out of 5

CHAOS (SHO & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Minoru Suzuki)

Suzuki came out and immediately attacked a young lion. Desperado and SHO started the match, as YOSHI-HASHI and Suzuki brawled at ringside. Suzuki pulled SHO out of the ring and beat on him outside of the ring. I can’t help but think that Suzuki is going to kill YOSHI-HASHI in their tournament match tomorrow.

Suzuki smashed YOSHI-HASHI with a chair, scared Rocky Romero so he fell out of his commentary seat, and beat on the young lions with chairs. Desperado and SHO were back in the ring, and SHO hit a vertical suplex. Suzuki and YOSHI-HASHI started exchanging strikes, and Suzuki seemed to be enjoying it.

Suzuki hit a knee strike on YOSHI-HASHI, but SHO and YOSHI-HASHI were able to double team Suzuki a bit. SHO tried to pin Suzuki, but Suzuki kicked out, and ended up hitting the Gotch Style piledriver.

Result: Suzuki-gun

Rating: 2.5 stars out of 5

Suzuki cut a promo on YOSHI-HASHI after the match and he left ringside.
