3. WrestleMania 31:
A year after one of the biggest moments in WrestleMania (which we will discuss later), he was back where he started… Competing for a championship. It was the opening to WrestleMania 31, as Daniel Bryan competed in a seven-man ladder match for one of the most prestigious championships in the business, the Intercontinental Championship.
The other participants in this ladder match were the defending Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett, Stardust, R-Truth, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, and lastly one of his previous WrestleMania opponents, Dolph Ziggler.
Bryan literally reached new heights when he climbed the top of the ladder and retrieved the Intercontinental championship, once again turning WrestleMania into YestleMania! Another great moment as he won his first and only ever Intercontinental Championship in WWE.
Even though Bryan winning the Intercontinental Championship was a feel good moment, he had to relinquish it soon after due to neck injuries.
We thought that WrestleMania 31 would be the last WrestleMania match for Bryan, but after two and a half years away, he was allowed to step out of retirement and compete in a WWE ring again, so he made his return at WrestleMania 34 (which we will be discussing shortly.)
