WWE SummerSlam 2018 will feature Raw’s Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defending his title against Roman Reigns, and SmackDown’s WWE Champion AJ Styles defending his title against Samoa Joe.

WWE SummerSlam 2018 will take place on August 19 at 7 p.m. ET, and the card still has more spots to fill. It’s the biggest event of the summer, and feuds are starting to build up! All of the championship titles, especially Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title, should be on the line at this PPV.

From Raw, Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal title against Roman Reigns for the fourth time in the main event of SummerSlam. Seth Rollins will get one more shot at Dolph Ziggler’s Intercontinental title. Alexa Bliss will be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey.

Meanwhile, Bliss’s Mixed Match Challenge partner, Braun Strowman, will put his MITB contract on the line against Kevin Owens, who he has been feuding with for the past few months. Finn Bálor is still feuding with Baron Corbin, so that is a potential match-up that can be added to the card as well.

On the SmackDown side of things, AJ Styles will be defending his WWE title against Samoa Joe in a first-time match up (in WWE, that is). There is currently a tournament in progress to determine the next challengers for the Bludgeon Brothers and the SmackDown Tag Team Champmionship. So we’re guaranteed a SmackDown Tag Title match at SummerSlam.

Carmella will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch, who has been on a straight fire roll as of late. Since Daniel Bryan is feuding with The Miz and Randy Orton is playing mind games with Jeff Hardy and U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, there are potential matches that can be added to the card from those feuds as well.

With that being said, let’s predict each officially announced match for WWE SummerSlam 2018, as well as the many probable matches that could be added to the card in the next few weeks.
