Report: Johnny Impact Suffers Elbow Injury During Photoshoot
Just days after returning to Impact Wrestling, Johnny Impact has suffered an injury during a photoshoot.
Former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion, John Hennigan, then known as John Morrison, suffered a dislocated elbow while doing a magazine shoot this past yesterday, as first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Johnny Impact, real name John Hennigan, posted a photo himself in the hospital after the injury on Instagram saying, “baby oil and parkour don’t mix well.”

Depending on the severity of the injury, Hennigan could be out for as little as three weeks, if the injury requires surgery though, he could be out for much longer.
The injury could not have come at a worse time for Impact Wrestling or Hennigan, as he had just returned to the company and participated in a Fatal Four Way at Slammiversary that was one of the best matches on the card in a winning effort.
Prior to his return to the company, Hennigan had been a major player in Impact Wrestling challenging for the then Global Championship against Eli Drake in late 2017 and early 2018.
Hennigan was written off of Impact TV due to a vicious attack at the hands of Kongo Kong back in April, and many fans were interested to see the continuation of that feud when Johnny returned just a few weeks ago.
Now though, with this unfortunate injury, fans will have to wait to finally get to see the culmination of that storyline. Thankfully, the injury doesn’t seem to be too serious, so Impact may not have to go too long without one of its brightest stars.
We here at Daily DDT wish Johnny Impact a speedy recovery.
