As it currently stands, Trish Stratus and Lita are the two greatest female in-ring performers in WWE history. Both are in the WWE Hall of Fame, both are multi-time Women’s champions and both were way ahead of their time in terms of their in-ring style.

Their respective careers overlapped to such an extent that their rivalry defined their time in WWE. One of the greatest moments in RAW history was when these two superstars became the first women to main event RAW in 2004.

While this is a match that the WWE Universe has seen many times before, it is always one worth re-exploring. The likelihood of the contest living up to the heights of their previous encounters is low, but both women can still perform at a high level and would put on a great show.

While it may not be the best use of either of these legends, it would definitely provide Evolution with the type of high profile match usually reserved for an event like WrestleMania or SummerSlam. This would also be a fantastic tip of the hat to two of the women who genuinely laid the foundations for the current crop of brilliant female performers to grace the squared circle.
