Several current WWE superstars have listed Trish Stratus as one of their biggest influences, including current RAW Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. The similarities to Stratus are evident in Bliss from her presence, her wrestling psychology to her in-ring style. While Bliss has always been a compelling heel on the main roster, a rivalry with Stratus could provide a great opportunity for a “passing of the torch” moment and may set the wheels in motion for a babyface turn for Little Miss Bliss.

Bliss is already well on her way to a Hall of Fame worthy career, with five Women’s Championship reigns to her name in her short career. But a rivalry with the greatest women’s wrestler of all time would truly set her apart and put her on a different “stratosphere”! While she currently holds the RAW Women’s Championship, it seems unlikely that she will prevent Rond Rousey from winning that title at SummerSlam, so she could well be free to line up against her biggest idol.

Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus, is a real match for the ages, a clash of era’s similar to a Rock vs Hogan or Cena vs Rock contest. It would undoubtedly light up the show and would be a fitting main event for the first ever women’s only WWE pay-per-view.
