Tonight marks the final episode of WWE SmackDown Live before SummerSlam for the blue brand, and everyone is expecting the show to go into the “Biggest Party of the Summer.”

WWE SmackDown Live has been the “A-Show” of WWE for the last month, and last weeks episode was no different. Kicking off with a stellar promo from Randy Orton who has been on another level since he shook things up in his return at Extreme Rules. Needless to say, this heel turn has been long coming for Orton and has revitalized his career.

Orton’s promo wasn’t the only one that impressed last Tuesday night, as WWE Champion AJ Styles delivered a fire promo in response to Samoa Joe’s promo from the week before.

While the promos were part of the highlight of last weeks episode, the in-ring action is what stole the show.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair took on the IIconics and while the match itself wasn’t all that impressive, the dissension that was hinted at between Lynch and Flair is what made this segment all that more important. While, neither Lynch, nor Flair outright turned on each other, their promo’s before and after the match showed that Lynch has had enough of Charlotte always stealing her thunder since coming to the blue brand, and that adds an all-new interesting wrinkle to their SummerSlam triple threat with Carmella for the SDLive Women’s Championship.

The main event match between The New Day and The Bar was by far the best match of the week from WWE. As if there was any doubt that it would be.

While The New Day won a very hard-fought match, The Bar still looks to be atop the tag division, and very well could be the number one contender following SummerSlam.

Without further adieu let’s take a look at five things we can expect from tonights SmackDown Live!
