Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will be the go-home show to SummerSlam, so expect to see plenty of action as the title matches get their final push to Sunday.

WWE SmackDown continues to be must-see television each week, and tonight’s go-home show for SummerSlam figures to be no different from the past iterations of the show. Even the kick-off match, Rusev and Lana vs. Zelina Vega and Anrade “Cien” Almas, is plenty heated, with Vega throwing some serious shots at Lana in WWE.com exclusive promos posted on social media.

Aiden English will take on Almas to prove his loyalty to Rusev, as English has screwed up several times over the past couple of months.

The big feud is, of course, the WWE Championship bout between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, which surely qualifies as a dream match. Joe has made this feud personal with comments about Styles as a father, so we’ll see what Styles says back tonight.

Carmella must defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. After defeating both Charlotte and Asuka twice in title matches, the odds are stacked against Carmella. She’ll have a showdown with these two tonight ahead of their highly-anticipated bout at SummerSlam.

The New Day will take on the Bludgeon Brothers in a title match on Sunday, but, first, they must clash against familiar foes in Sanity. Can they pick up yet another victory over Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain, and Eric Young?

Finally, Paige has a surprise in store for former stablemates Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. But what on earth could that be?

Check back here throughout the show for live highlights, grades, and analysis from tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
