3. The B-Team retains yet again.

The B-Team picked up another victory and successfully defended their tag team titles last night. Now, I have nothing against Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. They always do what they are asked to do for the sake of entertainment and have deep roots in this business. However, they are not the best in the ring. Especially because, when it comes to tag team wrestling, you can’t really match them up against the Revival.

However, as creative would have it, Axel and Dallas managed to defeat the Revival due to another well-timed accident/fluke that resulted in a roll-up getting reversed for the three count. We can expect to see a rematch for the same in the coming weeks. But the damage has already been done. Revival has lost a ton of momentum and credibility. The days when they tore the house down alongside American Alpha seem like distant memory now.

Last night was the perfect moment to end their Cinderella run and restart the tag division as a whole. The Revival could have reigned as the top dogs of the division until perhaps a reunited American Alpha came back to confront them. That is merely one of the many possibilities that could have panned out. Instead, we get to see more of ‘lady luck’ in action going forward.
