Lars Sullivan Vs Raul Mendoza

Result: Lars Sullivan destroys Mendoza

Grade: Squash

Raul Mendoza comes out for his match against EC3 and is instead greeted by Lars Sullivan. Sullivan admits to having attacked EC3 backstage and then makes his way to the ring.

He then proceeds to absolutely destroy Mendoza in one of the company’s most dominant squashes in some time. The match never technically got underway, so Sullivan just leaves his opponent lying in the ring after hitting him with the freak accident. This did an excellent job at making Sullivan look like an absolute animal.

Keith Lee Vs Luke Menzies

Result: Keith Lee wins with a spirit bomb

Grade: Squash

Former professional rugby player turned wrestler, Luke Menzies made his NXT debut last night and was quickly disposed of by the more experienced, Keith Lee.

Menzies was allowed to look slightly competitve against Lee for a brief period, but Lee eventually picked up the comfortable victory with the spirit bomb.

Lee has now had two matches in NXT, and while they have both been comfortable victories, he has still had to endure some offence from his opponents for periods of the match. In these early days of his NXT run, he should just be absolutely destroying his opponents. Still, Lee is one hell of an athlete, and it’s always great to see him perform.
