The Undisputed Era Vs Ricochet and Pete Dunne

Result: The Undisputed Era won with the last shot

Grade: B-

The Undisputed Era are quickly becoming the MVPs of NXT, and they put on another excellent performance against two of the brand’s other champions on this week’s show.

The duo have seemingly perfected the art of the sub 10-minute match, and they showcased that once again last night.

The match was a high tempo affair from the opening bell, and all four men got enough time to look impressive here. The Undisputed Era picked up the victory after a mix-up between Ricochet and Pete Dunne, which saw the North American Champion take out his British partner with a dive to the outside.

After the match, the tag champs beat down Ricochet, only for The War Raiders to run down and make the save to close the show.

This was a really nice way of building towards NXT TakeOver: WarGames III, with all of the pieces for the night’s centrepiece match falling into place nicely.

This was a jam-packed episode of NXT, featuring plenty of storyline progression and setting the wheel’s in motion for TakeOver: WarGames II.
