WWE: 5 NXT Women With The Most Potential

NXT’s women’s division has produced some bona-fide stars, with the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch cutting their teeth on the black-and-yellow brand before making the leap to the main roster.

The list goes on: Asuka, Ember Moon, Nia Jax, Ruby Riott. They all made names for themselves in NXT, and their time at the performance centre has set each of them up to establish their place on their respective main roster shows. And with a regular intake of new talent, the division has been in rude health for quite some time.

Current breakout stars Kairi Sane and former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler are arguably main roster ready, and Nikki Cross’s jump to the main roster is long overdue. It won’t be long before we see one or all of them taking their first steps on Raw or Smackdown – Evolution is coming, and it’s almost a certainty that the event will mark the step up for at least one of them.

But who’ll be the next superstars to step up to the NXT title event scene once Sane and Baszler make their transition to the main roster? And which of NXT’s women have the potential to make it all the way – not just to the top of NXT, but beyond?

The good news is that the future of the division is looking very healthy indeed – and with the Mae Young Classic in its second year, expect to see more new faces popping up at the performance centre in the not-too-distant future.
