1. Brie Bella vs. Maryse

The feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan is an eight-year saga that is finally starting to reach its climax.  It has gotten so personal that even the wives of the respective competitors are in the mix and this coming Sunday night, a mixed tag team match will take place at Hell In A Cell.

It will be Bryan and Brie Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse in just a few days, but last night was all about the ladies of the equation.  It was set to be Brie vs. Maryse in the main event of last night’s show, but that wouldn’t exactly pan out like it looked on paper.  Even at that, this segment still turned out very well and built the feud up even better.

Brie was ready for a fight, but Maryse kept running and wanted no part of the match.  Miz got on the mic and said this match isn’t happening because nobody deserves to see his wife in action, so Brie chased down Maryse and got her back in the ring.  But The Miz made a big mistake when he intentionally grabbed Brie and pulled her to the outside of the ring, causing a disqualification and a furious Bryan.

Bryan began attacking Miz at will, but his overzealousness led to The Miz tossing him through the middle rope and Bryan hit Brie on the outside.  Miz and Maryse took advantage of the situation, but Bryan and Brie got things back in their favor and would take it to the “It Couple.”  It all culminated with Brie punching Miz in the face while standing tall with her husband.  This was a great segment that makes Sunday’s mixed tag team match even more enticing.

Expecting to see a Brie vs. Maryse match was never truly in the cards, but a great segment still came out of it.
