WWE Hell in a Cell 2018: Full Match Card, How and Where to Watch
By Bryan Heaton
It’s time to step into the most demonic structure in modern professional wrestling, as WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 is this Sunday. Here’s what’s booked on the show, plus details on how to watch the event live.
On Sunday, September 16, WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 takes place in San Antonio, Texas. In the past, Hell in a Cell has provided some absolutely vicious moments in WWE history — bodies flying off the cell and through the cell, for example. Since becoming the focus of a pay per view event in 2009, there’s been some ups and downs, but there’s still the potential for an amazing occurrence.
This year, there’s a total of eight matches scheduled for the evening. Six of those eight matches are championship encounters, with one title match and one non-title match taking place inside the Hell in a Cell. This past week on Raw, we even got a legend added to the presumed main event as a special guest referee.
There’s plenty of fire involved in each match on the show. The Universal Championship match features a pair of longtime rivals. Both women’s championship matches have become personal in recent weeks. But nothing can top the sheer animosity permeating the WWE Championship rivalry. Families have been dragged into the mix, and harsh words have been spoken all around.
Even the three tag team matches are all built upon some kind of story. A non-title mixed tag match pits two married couples against each other. The Raw Tag Team Championship match is part of a larger, long-running feud. And the SmackDown Tag Team Title match was made after the challengers won a mini tournament to earn their shot.
