WWE SmackDown Live Predictions: Will Becky Lynch Be Counted Out?
Tonight on WWE SmackDown Live, we will see a rematch from Super Show-Down between SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. At Super Show-Down, Lynch purposely disqualified herself to retain, but tonight, if she DQ’s again, she will lose her championship.
On Saturday morning (or afternoon, or evening depending on where you watched from) Becky Lynch faced her former best friend Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship yet again. In what I can only translate as an attempt from WWE to get Lynch actual heel heat, Lynch DQ’d herself from the match by hitting Charlotte with her championship, losing the match but keeping her title, as is customary.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, Becky and Charlotte will have yet another rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but this time, if Becky DQ’s, she will lose the title.
WWE has landed themselves in a very precarious situation yet again with this match. Although she’s allegedly the heel, to make Becky look pompous or cowardly by forcing a count-out isn’t the right move, nor is putting Charlotte over as champion right now.
The wildcard element of this stipulation would be all the schpeels Becky has been going on all over WWE video saying how over-looked and unappreciated, essentially, she’s been by WWE. I wouldn’t be surprised if the former Queen of Puns wins clean on this one and then gets on the mic to say she refuses to be “counted out” by WWE again.
Also at Super Show-Down, Daniel Bryan won the right to challenge WWE Champion AJ Styles at WWE Crowl Jewel on November 2nd, so we should prepare for a tense interaction between the two tonight on SmackDown Live.
I guess it’s safe to assume that AJ Styles may be up for a heel turn with this Brian feud, which is an interesting choice seeing seeing as he JUST came off a feud with Samoa Joe where we saw him reacting to his family being harassed and effectively stalked.
Unless, of course, Joe still isn’t quiet finished with Styles, and we could perhaps expect him to be added into the mix with Styles and Bryan leading into the championship match at Crown Jewel.
Outside of that, we’ll have two qualifying matches for the “WWE World Cup” at Crown Jewel, one between the returning Big Show and Randy Orton, the other between Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe. Maybe I’m not understanding the concept quiet yet, but there’s not a whole lot of worldliness in this tournament yet, is there?
