WWE WrestleMania 35: 3 Possible Matches For Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels will make his in-ring return at “Crown Jewel”, but it isn’t out of the question to think that he could make more appearances, including a match at WWE WrestleMania 35.
It seemed like Shawn Michaels had the perfect ending to his in-ring career, defiantly spitting in the face of The Undertaker before “The Dead Man” retired him at WrestleMania 26. To this day, it stands as one of the most emotional moments in WWE history, and Michaels never returned to the squared circle because of how perfectly that match summed up his illustrious career.
In 2018, Michaels has decided to make his in-ring return, and his first match will be a tag team match against Kane and The Undertaker, renewing “The Heartbreak Kid’s” rivalry with “The Phenom”. Michaels will team up with long-time best friend Triple H, as the duo have brought back “D-Generation X” to get them in the mood to fight the Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel.
There’s a possibility that Michaels could have more matches in something of a “comeback tour” with WWE. While this could just be a one-off appearance to appease the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, WrestleVotes is reporting that Michaels is planning on wrestling at WWE WrestleMania 35, “if all goes well”.
It would be a shock to see Michaels in another WrestleMania, but if he still has something to give, I’m sure most fans will accept seeing another great match from HBK, even if it means rewriting what happened at WM26. Furthermore, it may seem off if Michaels wrestles for a hefty paycheck at “Crown Jewel”, due to the criticisms the Network Special has received for helping Saudi Arabia spread propaganda.
If Michaels does wrestle at WrestleMania 35, there is no shortage of possible matches for him. Here’s a quick list of three wrestlers who would make plenty of sense as The Showstopper’s opponent at the “Show of Shows” in 2019.
