7. The Shield vs The Usos – Money in the Bank 2013

The Shield have been praised for being arguably the most dominant stable in WWE history, and much of that has to do with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns’s strong run as WWE Tag Team Champions. If there is one disappointing knock that can be said about their reign as champions, it’s that most of their title matches were on the Kickoff pre-show rather than the actual main show. However, whenever the team found themselves on the pre-show, they decided to use that as a means to steal the show.

The Shield did this often during their reign as Tag Team Champions, but one fine example of a Shield title defense stealing the show before the show even began was when they defended their titles against The Usos on the Kickoff show for Money in the Bank 2013.

Clearly, these two teams had two things in mind on the night of the pay-per-view: 1.) Have the best match of the night and 2.) make the WWE regret not putting them on the actual main show. With the crowd being as electric as they were for this match to kick off the night’s festivities, we are positive that The Usos and The Shield achieved both goals that night.
