NXT: Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong (c) vs. War Raiders

The Undisputed Era have taken over WWE NXT ever since Adam Cole made his heart-stopping debut to overshadow the main event of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Cole hinted at future dominance when they stood tall at WarGames, with nobody in the faction shining brighter at the end than Cole.

Although he’s no longer the North American Champion, he had more than made his presence felt as the leader of the faction, as he has helped O’Reilly and Roderick Strong retain the NXT Tag Team Championships at every turn.

Holding off the War Raiders is no easy task, and if it weren’t for Fish’s shocking return from injury, Strong and O’Reilly may have lost the titles this week.

War Raiders have been one of the world’s premier tag teams ever since Hanson and Rowe joined forces, and they’ve taken NXT by a storm, massively upgrading the tag team division.

This match between Undisputed Era and War Raiders was fantastic, and Fish ruining the finish honestly added to the match. It made UE look impossibly dominant, even though they were about to get beat by the scary-athletic tandem of Hanson and Rowe

Undisputed Era are rivaling any faction in wrestling right now when it comes to match quality and camaraderie, as bold of a claim as that may be. But while the look impenetrable as a quartet, the fact of the matter is that War Raiders have been positioned as the more talented competitors due to their unnatural combination of strength and speed. I’d love to see more matches between these two tag teams in the future, because their differing styles mesh so well.
