The match quality in WWE has never been better, but there are so many exceptional WWE.com exclusive promos that go overlooked every week. It’s time to take a look at this week’s best in-ring and backstage promos on WWE TV.

Some members of the WWE Universe have worried if babyfaces in the company aren’t given good enough material for their promos, but several wrestlers have shown that there are still plenty of strong babyface promos making waves.

There were a number of them on WWE programming this week, with Mustafa Ali once again standing out in that regard.

205 Live: Mustafa Ali Is Ready To Finish Hideo Itami

For months, Mustafa Ali has established himself as one of WWE’s best promos, even if it doesn’t seem like he’s on the level of the wrestlers who consistently get a platform to speak on Raw or SmackDown Live.

Since 205 Live only lasts an hour and is heavy on the wrestling, the brand relies heavily on backstage promos uploaded to WWE’s social channels.

Ali has cut so many impassioned promos about building 205 “brick by brick” or about standing up to people like Buddy Murphy. His latest promo aimed at Hideo Itami, whom he has been locked in a brutal feud with on 205, was as exceptional as any of them. His crescendoed as he spoke, each sentence vibrating more forcefully than the last, as the determination in his eyes pierced holes into the camera.

"“On this road there are no twists and there are no turns. It’s just a straight path that runs directly into me. On this road, there’s nowhere to run or hide, because wherever you go, I go! Hideo, on this road, you won’t find any respect, only redemption! On this road, where you lay is where I stand, because on this road, it’s Falls Count Anywhere!” “See you down the road.”"

What a perfect way to build towards what should be a brutal match where neither competitor holds back, because this rivalry is intensely personal.
