With 1000 episodes of Smackdown behind us, the WWE is now set out for 1000 more. On the 1001st episode of Smackdown, the WWE continues to attempt to raise The Bar by capitalizing on their favorite switch to turn: The Big Show.

Last week, Smackdown celebrated an impressive feat as they put on the 1000th episode of Smackdown becoming one of the highest rated shows in recent time. Unfortunately, The 1001st episode looked vaguely familiar.

Capped off by Randy Orton versus Jeff Hardy, the go-home Smackdown to Evolution was missing two crucial elements: Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Although, Smackdown was able to put on great show highlighted in my opinion by The Miz versus Rey Mysterio. Now, it is time to look into who topped our top ten power ranking this week.

10. Asuka

Heading into the first ever all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, Asuka looks in prime position to win the opportunity battle royal for a future Women’s Championship match. During a brawl between the majority of the female roster, Asuka came out on the top last tossing out Zelina Vega, who also came out of the brawl looking impressive in her own right.

This is a perfect opportunity for the WWE to get Asuka back up to the position she was before WrestleMania 34. Given that Becky Lynch retains her championship against Charlotte at Evolution, Asuka would be a great next opponent for Becky Lynch. Although, it seems that feud may not be over anytime soon.

9.  Rusev

This week was a big one for “The Bulgarian Brute.” Rusev was finally able to get his one-on-one match with Aiden English. English came out of the gate looking strong as he was able to corner Rusev. English took one-moment over-confidence to argue with Lana and it cost him. A machka kick out of nowhere and the accolade meant the end for Aiden English.

When it really comes down to it the focus of this feud is obviously Lana. Aiden’s obsession with Lana was what led to the end of Rusev Day and to his defeat tonight. It is hard to say where they will go with this storyline next after tonight. Although, I believe this feud is only getting started.
