#10: Beth Phoenix

It shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise that the “Glamazon” made the list.

Phoenix debuted on Raw in May 2006. After breaking her jaw, and leaving to continue training, she returned to Raw in July 2007. It didn’t take Phoenix long after to start making an impression.

Phoenix held the first version of the WWE Women’s Championship three times, and the Divas Championship once. Unafraid of breaking gender barriers, Phoenix even was so bold as to enter the men’s Royal Rumble match, only the second female in WWE history to do so. In 2008, she was awarded Diva of the Year.

In 2012, Phoenix decided to leave WWE, stating that she wanted to focus more on her family. It was announced in Feb. 2017 that Phoenix would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, making her the quickest female inductee after retirement.

Phoenix stayed close to the company after retiring, and reappeared in 2018, acting as a color commentator for WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 and the second Mae Young Classic tournament.

Also in 2018, Phoenix returned to the ring, competing in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match, making her the only wrestler to have competed in both the men’s Royal Rumble match and the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Phoenix will make her mark yet again, when she takes a seat at the commentary table at Evolution.
