We’ve finally made it to WWE Evolution, WWE’s first all-women’s pay-per-view! Will Ronda Rousey retain her Raw Women’s Championship? Will Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair be the Last Woman Standing?

Well, everyone, like I’ve said, we have finally arrived at WWE Evolution. It’s been a long road, a long road full of fake card leaks (remember that?), lack-luster promoting of the event, and living in the shadow of that other pay-per-view.

No matter what your problems with WWE and the way the creation of WWE Evolution went down, let’s not forget what we’re really here for – to recognize and celebrate the profound breadth of talent the WWE’s various women’s divisions offer us.

The women of the WWE have come a long way from being arm-candy and being thrust into bikini contests and wet t-shirt contests. Tonight, the women of WWE Past and Present are on display to show you just how bright WWE Future is looking.

Ronda Rousey will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella in a feud that got really heated really fast. Both women claim a huge stake in the WWE Women’s Revolution, and tonight their match is guaranteed to be a lot more brutal that anyone expects.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will go one-on-one with her former best friend Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match. Why this isn’t the main event tonight, I honestly couldn’t tell you. This match is bound to prove to audiences that not only are women in the WWE boundlessly talented, but they can make things pretty ugly when they have to.

WWE Hall of Famers and legends of the women’s division Trish Stratus and Lita will square off with the team of Alicia Fox and Mickie James in a match that’s bound to be emotional for all the girls and women (and even some of the guys) who fell in love with wrestling by watching the Attitude-Era stars.

We’ll see two high-octane matches tonight courtesy of NXT – NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane vs. former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, and the final match of the Mae Young Classic featuring Toni Storm and Io Shirai.

Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Natalya look to put an end to the antics of the pesky Riott Squad , and we’ll see a Battle Royal featuring many of your favorite from today’s roster and rosters past, like Hall of Famers Alundra Blayze and Ivory.

It’s not the first all-women’s pay-per-view ever, and I’m willing to bet it won’t be the last, but tonight isn’t really about firsts. Tonight is about elevating women and all they do for the sport of professional wrestling. We’re behind you, ladies.

Follow along with us here tonight for live updates, results, reviews, and analysis of tonight’s show, airing live on the WWE Network at 7PM/6PM Central!
