I’ve said this before in my predictions article – if Shayna doesn’t win, we riot.

Shayna Baszler isn’t as brutal right out the gate, but after a little bit she’s throwing Kairi Sane into the steel steps like it’s nothing.

Shayna is molding Kairi like she’s a piece of clay; she’s doing that gross arm thing that I hate (sorry for my lack of formality), and you can tell every single time it’s applied that it really, really sucks.

Shayna is really coming for Kairi tonight. I can’t actually express to you all the things N is saying that further the notion that Shayna Baszler is a beast and is completely insane.

For every little bit of offense Kairi gets in, Shayna gets twice that. Kairi finally manages to hold Shayna in a submission, but Shayna quickly counters and is back on offense. Kairi actually looks way more tired than the commentators are making it seem.

Except, that is, until Kairi hits a massive spear on Shayna. Kairi gets a near-fall on a neck breaker, which she follows up with a big slam. Shayna stops Kairi from climbing to the top rope for the In-sane Elbow, and she literally suspended Kairi above the ring by the arm.

Kairi tries for the In-sane Elbow again, but Shayna rolls out of the ring. That won’t stop Kairi Sane, however, and Kairi dives out of the ring on top of Shayna. Kairi throws Shayna into her Four Horsewomen compatriots Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. Duke and Shafir distract Sane enough for Shayna to hit the Kirifuda Cluth twice.

The second time was the charm for Baszler, and Kairi is knocked out by the submission, and the ref calls the match in favor of Baszler.
