Tonight on Raw, allow WWE to rip open the wound that formed last week when Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins after they won the Raw Tag Team Championship on the heels of Roman Reign’s announcement.

If you’re anything like me, then all this passed week, there was probably a dark corner of your mind that, whenever you thought about Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, sang you the chorus of “Say It Ain’t So” by Weezer.

WWE pulled off one of the most heartbreaking turns I’ve personally ever seen last week on Raw when, on the heels of Roman Reigns abdicating his Universal Championship to battle his returning leukemia, Dean Ambrose suddenly turned on his Shield brother Seth Rollins literally right after the two pulled off an inspiring victory for the Raw Tag Team Champsionship.

I almost don’t even want Dean Ambrose to be here tonight because I really don’t feel like dealing with it right now, especially right after Evolution. My nerves are already shot, I can’t really afford this right now.

With that said, this has been the most excited I’ve actually been for an episode of Raw in a considerably long time.

Speaking of course of Evolution, last night Ronda Rousey defeated Nikki Bella to retain her Raw Women’s Championship, and Nia Jax won the Battle Royale allowing her a championship opportunity against Rousey.

We’ll find out tonight if Nia and Ronda are ready to kick off their championship feud tonight, or is Nikki Bella not completely done with Rousey yet? Maybe we’ll see all three women in the ring tonight, who knows?

Brock Lesnar has officially been announced for Raw tonight, so thus we begin the never-ending schlep to Crown Jewel and the build towards the now traditional one-on-one match for the Universal Championship between him and Braun Strowman.

I quiet frankly am more concerned about what’s going to happen to the Raw Tag Team Championships now that the, uh, champions hate each other, I guess.

The WWE Creative Writer in me wants to say that Dean should “intentionally ground” (hey, I watch football) the titles and purposefully and emphatically take the pin to to lose the championship for him and Rollins tonight (because they’ll inevitably have to defend their titles tonight).

Tune in tonight for all the action on the USA Network 8PM/7PM Central, and follow along with us here for live updates, results, and review of tonight’s show.
