Matt Riddle Sent A Warning To Brock Lesnar Like The Boss That He Is

Brock Lesnar took home the Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel, and Matt Riddle had quite the message for “The Beast Incarnate” hours after the disastrous show.

Most WWE fans are sick of seeing Brock Lesnar on their screens, on the rare occasion that he actually does show up on an episode of Raw or a Pay Per View. Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel to win the Universal Championship vacated by the one true GOAT, Roman Reigns himself.

Most of Lesnar’s cachet comes from his status as a former NCAA champ, a former UFC champ, and a multi-time WWE champ. Lesnar is a bad-ass fighter with cross-over appeal, even if many hardcore wrestling fans have grown tired of his act.

But you know who else is a bad-ass fighter who could have big-time crossover appeal because of his quick whit, chill attitude, boundless charisma, and “glow”? Matt Riddle.

And guess who called out Lesnar hours after his Universal Title win over Strowman at Crown Jewel? Yup, “The King of Bros” decided to call his shot.

In the tweet linked above, Riddle said,

"“Thank you Brock for coming back and winning the universal title! You’re right where I need you bro and it’s gonna be that much sweeter when I retire you in a couple years. #kingofbros #bro #stallion #nxt #wwenxt #wwenetwork”"

Please, please, WWE. Let Riddle retire Lesnar. Yeah, it’s never going to happen, and if I’m being honest, a returning Reigns retiring Lesnar would be the greatest thing ever. But if that can’t happen, then Riddle retiring Lesnar is an amazing Plan B.

Riddle made his television debut in WWE just two days before Crown Jewel on Oct. 31, defeating Luke Menzies in an entertaining match that showcased Riddle’s strut, grappling, jaw-dropping athleticism, flawless strikes, and story-telling ability. There’s a reason why wrestling fans have anointed Riddle as the next big star, and he’s ascent on the Independent scene was truly something to behold. Few people have taken to wrestling as quickly as Riddle has, both as an in-ring talent and as a character.

So yeah, Riddle is infinitely more entertaining that Lesnar to hardcore wrestling fans, and he’s already a legend for calling out Lesnar just days after his NXT debut. He knows where the cash is, and he knows what his potential is. Your move, WWE. Your move. You know, just…just think about it. Riddle over Lesnar. It sounds like a great statement to me.
