WWE NXT: Top 3 Potential First Feuds For Matt Riddle

One of the hottest free agents in the business is officially off the market. Zack Ryder’s reign as king is over, as the “King of Bros” Matt Riddle has arrived in WWE NXT. We are in for a sure treat, bro.

The wrestling community went wild when Matt Riddle was shown in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4. It was finally time for Riddle’s “spotted in the crowd moment” and we all knew that a WWE NXT contract soon followed. Now, Riddle is finally a member of the NXT roster after making his debut on the Oct. 31 episode of NXT. And can we mention how jazzy his theme music is, bro?

3. Tommaso Ciampa

The idea of having Matt Riddle and Tommaso Ciampa going one on one in NXT makes me very excited. We have seen a one-off match between the two in Beyond Wrestling back in 2016 when Riddle was still young in the business. But that was only a taste of what they could do together. With a platform like NXT, they could create an entertaining story and a crazy match.

I have no doubt that whenever this does happen, it will steal whatever show that it is on. They would have a vicious match together, but I just don’t know when it should be. If Ciampa keeps the NXT Championship for long enough, Riddle could be the one that takes it from him.

However, if Ciampa loses the NXT Championship at WarGames, Riddle would be a great feud for Ciampa, before hopefully being called up to the main brand. Ciampa has done such a great job at becoming one of the most despised men in the WWE, and people are wishing that somebody will kick his teeth down his throat. What a better pick than having somebody with MMA experience?
