WWE SmackDown Live Predictions: Will Daniel Bryan Lose Co-Captain Spot?
WWE SmackDown Live continues their road to Survivor Series this Tuesday, but the role Daniel Bryan (and some others) will play in next Sunday’s event may already be in jeopardy.
The road to Survivor Series is proving to be a long and rocky one for the blue brand, even though last week on WWE SmackDown Live, it looked like Team SmackDown as a whole could be looking up.
Shane McMahon announced that eternal enemies The Miz and Daniel Bryan would be co-captains for this year’s men’s Survivor Series team, and even though it sounds like a terrible idea on paper, Miz and Bryan proved that they may actually be capable of getting along.
However, that all seemed to change after a match Miz and Bryan set-up to determine the last player on this year’s team. Samoa Joe (Miz’s pick) defeated Jeff Hardy (Bryan’s pick), solidifying Joe’s spot on the team, but Daniel Bryan let his problems with Joe get the better of him, and he attacked Joe after the match was done while Miz tried to pull him off (go figure).
Will SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon be able to let that slide for the sake of Team SmackDown, or will Daniel Bryan have consequences waiting for him this Tuesday on SmackDown Live?
The women’s Team SmackDown isn’t looking too put together either. Last week, SmackDown GM Paige announced her team for Sunday, comprised of Naomi, Asuka, Sonya Deville, Carmella, and Charlotte… well, maybe.
Charlotte, still reeling after her devastating loss to Becky Lynch, was a no-show when he name was called. Someone else was eager to step up though; Mandy Rose made her way out from the back, and she had some choice things to say about every woman on the team, including her alleged best friend Sonya Deville.
Will the women’s Team SmackDown finally get their roster finalized tonight, and if so, who will the final five be?
