2. Will Baron Corbin cost Team Raw?
In addition to being the acting General Manager on Monday nights, Baron Corbin will also captain the men’s Survivor Series team. However, Corbin has a bigger problem on his hands now. The Monster Among Men is out to lay some real punishment on Corbin. Week after week, Strowman has been looking to put Corbin away for good, with little luck.
This week, he made an agreement with Stephanie McMahon. If Strowman can lead team Raw to victory, then he will get one more shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal title. In addition, Strowman will get to face Corbin and pick the stipulation for that match as well. What will Baron Corbin do at this juncture? Will he stay loyal to his own brand and the team he is captaining? Or will he succumb to his own selfish motives and personal safety and somehow cost team Raw a win?
Whatever he does, I see no way out of this for Corbin. Should he cost team Raw, he will face the wrath of Stephanie. Should he help the team win, he will face the unenviable wrath of Braun Strowman. Tough choices to say the least. I wouldn’t want to be in Corbin’s shoes any time in the near future.
