WWE Survivor Series 2018 has already provided some unexpected drama in the buildup towards the show, but the actual show itself should continue that trend with no problems whatsoever.

The card for WWE Survivor Series 2018 has taken a drastic turn this week with two of the biggest matches on the card dramatically changed, one due to unfortunate circumstances and one due to a last-minute title change.

Outside of those two major changes, this pay-per-view offers up several key storylines to look out for.  But what are the three biggest storylines?  Let’s take a look at the three biggest storylines heading into WWE Survivor Series 2018.

3. Dean Ambrose’s Potential Involvement In Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Fans were clamoring for a Dean Ambrose heel turn for a while now, but nobody would have imagined how and when it would finally happened.  On one of the most emotional nights in Raw history, The Lunatic Fringe betrayed his Shield brothers in the most shocking way possible.

After Roman Reigns announced he would have to relinquish the Universal Championship and step away from the WWE due to a battle with Leukemia, it felt like a feel-good moment was in order for Ambrose and Seth Rollins later in the night when they won the Raw Tag Team Championship.  However, Ambrose turned on Rollins after they had won and attacked him to the surprise of the WWE universe.

Since then, Rollins has wanted answers and Ambrose has taken cheap shot after cheap shot.  The Architect has to get his mind right, however, with a match against United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series.  The Intercontinental Champion has other things on his mind, however, namely The Lunatic Fringe.

This could be all the opening Nakamura needs to win this high-profiled match.  Ambrose is not scheduled for a match at Survivor Series, so him costing Rollins in this match is not only a possibility, but maybe a likely result.  This seems like the perfect way to get an Ambrose vs. Rollins feud for the Intercontinental Championship going once Survivor Series is over.

The Architect vs. The King Of Strong Style is a dream match, but that dream match might become a nightmare for the Intercontinental Champion courtesy of a lunatic.
