WWE: Three Predictions For Lars Sullivan’s First Main Roster Feud
NXT’s “Freak” Lars Sullivan is about to be unleashed on the WWE main roster. With SmackDown looking to make an impact after Survivor Series, I expect them to add a monster to their roster to boost their roster.
During the Survivor Series pay-per-view, it was revealed that NXT’s “Freak” Lars Sullivan will be the next call-up to the main roster. However, the particular brand that Lars will debut on has yet to be declared.
The vignette was later played again on both Raw and SmackDown to continue to keep people guessing. However, I am expecting that eventually Lars Sullivan will make his debut as a member of the SmackDown roster.
SmackDown is needing another monster heel. Where Raw stands out with big men, SmackDown lacks in that division besides Samoa Joe and Rusev. While SmackDown may have plenty of heels, Lars walks around as a man not looking to make friends. That is what will make Lars stand out.
Once Lars arrives, he will be looking to make an impact quickly. There is a talented roster on SmackDown for Lars to choose from. Looking into Lars arrival as a monster heel on SmackDown can be booked very interesting if done correctly. After going through the roster thoroughly, I have managed to get the list of potential opponents down to three. Here are my predictions for potential first feuds for Lars Sullivan that will help solidify Lars as a real threat in the WWE.
3. Jeff Hardy
One of the first names that came to my mind was Jeff Hardy. As it is well-known, Jeff Hardy is a man who throws caution to the wind. Jeff puts his body on the line every night he gets in the ring. That is why Hardy would certainly be a man who would stand up to Lars Sullivan and not back down from a fight. Since his return to the WWE, Jeff has shown that he can be relied on now to get the job done. That is why I believe that Jeff would have no problem with putting over Lars Sullivan.
This would be a great clash of speed and power, as Lars has proven that he is very agile for a big man. For a first feud on the main roster, a victory over Jeff Hardy would instantly add a level of prestige to Sullivan. Jeff Hardy is a former WWE Champion and never goes down without a fight. His recent feud with Randy Orton proved his resiliency. A win over Jeff Hardy truly is a step in the right direction for Lars Sullivan.
