WWE SmackDown Live: Results, Review, and Grades for November 27th
Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz
The match is essentially a spotlight on The New Day, not that I necessarily mind. The crowd spends the majority of the match fixed on Big E and Xavier Woods doing whatever they’re doing a ringside, and even Miz gets distracted by Big E and Woods when he gets knocked out of the ring.
Kofi gets a two and a half count after an SOS. Even the camera man keeps getting distracted by Woods and E. Miz gets a two and a half of his own after a DDT. Miz sneaks off to expose a turnbuckle, but Big E interrupts, jumping up on the ring and safely hiding the exposed turnbuckle with a stack of pancakes.
Big E gets so fed up that he hits Miz outside of the ring, and while the referee is reprimanding E, Miz takes the opportunity to get a steel chair. Xavier steals the chair right back, and when Miz turns around, Kofi is ready with a Trouble in Paradise, and he secures the win over the Miz.
Grade: Rated F for Funny as Heck. This was as much a match as it was an always-welcomed showcase of the comedic chops and unbelievable chemistry between the members of The New Day. Not to mention, it appears we haven’t seen the last of Heel Miz.
