Impact Wrestling: Results, Review, and Grades for November 29th
The Rascalz vs. Chris Bey and Mike Sydal
The Rascalz are here; it’s the moment we’ve (mostly me) all been waiting for! They’re facing two unsigned talents, Chris Bey and Mike Sydal, brother of Matt.
Jeez, everything is happening so fast. Zachary Wentz, in particular, is on fire, hitting a corkscrew dive and like, ten bronco busters on Bey in a row. Then, he lands a massive stomp on the flat-back of Sydal.
Dezmond Xavier pushes Wentz’s standing moonsault into Mike Sydal for the win. Pushes him! Here, look:
Grade: Potentially excellent. The physical ability of The Rascalz mixed with how fun-loving and whacky they can be could equal big things for Impact.
Backstage, Kiera Hogan refuses to believe that darkness has a hold of Allie completely. She knows her friend is still in there somewhere, and she implores Allie to remember the pact they made to always have each other’s back and remember who she is and who’s really there for her.
Meanwhile, in a mental health facility, Alicia Edwards apologizes for putting Eddie Edwards away, but she had no choice if they only other option was Eddie going to jail. Moose appears after Alicia is called out of the room, and he brought with him a copy of Eddie’s book “Anything Is Possible”. He notes that Eddie left out the part where Eddie abandoned Moose, and then his wife left him.
I laughed more than anything during this segment. How am I supposed to take Moose seriously where he’s wearing a pink bandana around his head and aviators? This made me still kind of wish it were Sami Callihan confronting Eddie.
