WWE Rumors: When Will Braun Strowman Return To Raw?

Braun Strowman is dealing with an elbow injury that could prevent him from competing against Baron Corbin, whose leadership of Raw is in jeopardy, at WWE TLC 2018. But he is reportedly scheduled to make his return soon.

WWE Raw has focused its attention on Braun Strowman, who seems like the favorite to eventually win the Universal Championship off of Brock Lesnar, though Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, the fan’s No. 1 choice, remain candidates.

Strowman, however, is dealing with a legitimate elbow injury (bone spurs), which WWE used as an angle on the Nov. 19 episode of Raw, stating that his elbow was “shattered” in a post-match attack by Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and McIntyre.

He underwent successful surgery, but his status for TLC remains up in the air, with a match scheduled against Acting General Manager Baron Corbin, whose authority on Monday nights is on the line in this match.

PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson reports that while Strowman’s status for TLC remains unclear, he is scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of Raw on Dec. 3 in Houston, Texas. It will be interesting to see what Braun does, assuming he appears next week, because that could help give some indication as to his status for the Dec. 16 TLC Pay Per View.

If Strowman isn’t medically cleared to compete after undergoing elbow surgery, there are rumblings that a six-man tag match could take place at TLC instead of the currently penciled-in Strowman vs. Corbin bout. Corbin, McIntyre, and Lashley have been busy antagonizing babyfaces like Finn Balor and Elias, in addition to ganging up on Strowman, so it wouldn’t be hard for WWE to book a six-man tag, even if it wouldn’t be the most exciting PPV match.

Perhaps WWE could use Kurt Angle in the match to spice things up, especially given the animosity between Angle and Corbin, who replaced Angle as Raw’s main authority figure. Furthermore, Angle could be looking for revenge on McIntyre, who embarrassed the WWE Hall of Famer weeks ago on Raw.

Hopefully Strowman will be able to compete in December as he steadies himself for “The Beast Incarnate”, with a Universal Title match at Royal Rumble between the two superstars looking likely. I’m sure there will be a huge pop for him in Houston on Raw, too.
