NXT TakeOver: Phoenix Match Card Predictions

Starting this Wednesday, the black and yellow brand will kickstart the build to NXT TakeOver: Phoenix. Here is a look at the matches we might see.

Note: This was written with no knowledge of the recent NXT television tapings.

After a scintillating and newsworthy NXT TakeOver: WarGames II show, Triple H and the rest of the NXT creative team elected to give the fans a couple weeks of light viewing before diving into the build for their next two-hour WWE Network special.

There were some slight storyline progressions to take note of; Candice LeRae continues to be mum about the actions of her husband Johnny Gargano, EC3 has his sights set on the man who put him out of action for a month –Bobby Fish — and the técnico trio of Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, and Dakota Kai appear set to combat 3/4ths of the MMA Four Horsewomen. With the black and yellow crew completing the latest round of tapings for December and January, we will see how these, and other feuds, evolve.

Sure, you could go to one of many other wrestling sites and look up the spoilers to get these answers. But where’s the fun in that? That would be like going to Wikipedia to look up the plot of a recently released movie to see if it was good or not.
