At WWE TLC 2018, Asuka will face SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and “Bootleg Becky” Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Here are four reasons why “The Empress” should win her first main roster title.

Asuka is a killer. Becky Lynch said so herself, and if anyone in WWE knows what a “killer” looks like, it’s “The Man” herself.

While Asuka lost several opportunities at the SmackDown Women’s Championship earlier this year, including several mind-numbingly awful matches against Carmella, WWE TLC 2018 might be her best chance yet to win the most prized title in the promotion right now.

Lynch has carried the SmackDown Women’s Championship to greatness over the past couple of months, winning the title off of Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell. Though Charlotte and Becky tore down the house at Evolution in a legendary “Last Woman Standing” match that is WWE’s “Match of the Year” for 2018, they will once again compete in a grueling match at TLC, as Becky’s title will be on the line in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.

But since we’ve seen Charlotte and Becky face each other so many times, with both hoarding the spotlight in a deep and talented SmackDown Women’s Division, someone else had to be added to the match.

That woman is Asuka, who won a Battle Royal on SmackDown Live to earn this title opportunity at TLC. But she’s more than just the “third wheel”; she just might be the favorite to win the title.

Here are four reasons why “The Empress of Tomorrow” should walk away with the title on Dec. 16.
