WWE 5 Bold Predictions This Week: Awesome Team Added To TLC

With Tables, Ladders, and Chairs growing closer, the WWE needs to spice up their weekly action. The fans are begging for some tension, let’s give it to them this week.

Last week, things weren’t as exciting on WWE programming as other weeks. Raw left the fans visually and verbally wanting more. While Smackdown had a few good points, but things seemed to lack in some categories. The stories are there but the care doesn’t seem to be. The Miz and Shane McMahon have really been the two to stand out in my eyes.

The most exciting moments this week like many others came from NXT and NXT UK. Lars Sullivan continues to stir up a buzz as his main roster debut comes soon. Before he goes, somebody will need to take his place, and one man springs to my mind. Overall, this week will be one that the WWE will be looking to make up for a highly criticized last week.

Here are five bold predictions on how they may do so:

5. Charlotte and Becky attack Asuka

The old saying is to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Lately, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have been the definition of that statement. The two are constantly fighting each other but giving each other credit when it is all said and done. The two’s relationship has been an interesting sight over the past few weeks. While they were bickering last week, I am expecting that these two will be on the same page come this Tuesday.

Their business has now been interrupted by Asuka after she won the battle royal on Smackdown to have the right to join the Smackdown Women’s Championship match. Charlotte and Becky can’t be happy with Asuka’s involvement, as both Charlotte and Becky have seen what Asuka is capable of. That is why I expect Charlotte and Becky will work together to target Asuka. If they don’t take her out of the match altogether, their message will still be sent.

Like always, this alliance won’t last. Charlotte Flair will look to prove a point trying to turn on Becky after the attack. However, I am expecting that at the end of it all, Becky Lynch will stand tall in the ring with Asuka and Charlotte both outside. The Man shows her dominance this week on Smackdown.

4. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable become Number One Contenders

Since Survivor Series, a potential match tag team title match has been teased between The Authors of Pain and the glorious team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. The glorious two mocked Drake Maverick after his pee spot at Survivor Series. To get back at them for their actions, Drake Maverick soiled Bobby Roode’s signature robe. If that wasn’t enough revenge for Maverick, The Authors of Pain attacked them while their backs were turned to get the win in a match.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bobby Roode and Chad Gable are going to want their own revenge now. This week on Raw, I am expecting to see Bobby Roode and Chad Gable get back at Drake Maverick. The two will likely put Maverick in a situation where he looks to embarrass himself again. The only way out of it is to agree to give Roode and Gable a shot for the Raw Tag Team Titles at TLC.

However, it will be a little too late for Drake. He will once again embarrass himself adding more fuel to his already fiery rage. This will lead to a match between Gable and Roode and AOP at TLC where Drake Maverick will cost Gable and Roode.
