Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins will most likely be Raw’s best match at WWE TLC 2018, because despite a few sketchy segments, this rivalry has shown that it has the potential to kick into another gear after their first Pay Per View bout.

In 2018, Seth Rollins has reached new heights as an in-ring competitor, and you could easily compile a top 10 list of his best matches this year that would stand with another WWE Superstar’s top 10 career matches. Rollins’s matches with Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, and Kevin Owens on Raw have helped carry the show, and few will forget his career-defining Gauntlet Match pins on Roman Reigns and John Cena.

Through all of his success as a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion and Intercontinental Champion this year, Rollins has neglected his former brother-in-arms, Dean Ambrose. After failing to value Ambrose, not following up on him during his scary triceps injury, and referring to Ambrose as a “Lunatic”, Rollins created a storm inside of Ambrose that led to Dean’s betrayal of The Shield.

Ambrose has made his motivations clear, and while Rollins is the sympathetic figure for most fans, it’s hard not to see Dean’s side of things. He feels used by The Shield and his friends, and he wants nothing more than to exact vengeance on a man who dubs himself “The Architect”. To Ambrose, Rollins is merely the architect of his own demise.

At WWE TLC 2018, Ambrose and Rollins will look to steal the show from the amazing SmackDown Women’s Championship match. Here are three reasons why, regardless of the destination to the finish, Ambrose should be the one holding the Intercontinental Championship on Sunday.
