WWE: 5 More Dream Matches For Mustafa Ali On SmackDown

 Mustafa Ali faced Daniel Bryan on WWE SmackDown Live last week, and following Vince McMahon’s announcement of major changes to the product, Ali was named as the newest addition to the Blue Brand’s roster. Here are five more dream matches for the ultra-talented former 205 Live star.

There’s no doubt that Mustafa Ali has always been talented, but he’s become a true breakout star in 2018, putting on excellent match after excellent match on WWE‘s Purple Brand, 205 Live. Ali was rewarded with a main roster match against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, and the buzz he created made everyone take notice.

Yesterday on Raw, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Triple H informed the WWE Universe that they would be giving more opportunities to superstars and presenting fans with fresher matchups as a way of “shaking up” the product. This announcement came on the heels of record low ratings for Raw and SmackDown.

Ali looks like an early beneficiary of this new approach. After facing Bryan last week, Ali was added to the SmackDown Live roster tonight, and he teamed up with AJ Styles to take on Bryan and Andrade “Cien” Almas in the main event of the show.

Those are three of the best wrestlers in the world, with Bryan and Styles being legitimate legends of the wrestling industry. That’s quite the spot for Ali, but he’s more than earned it with his amazing matches and promos throughout 2018.

Now that he’s a full-time member of the SmackDown Live roster, here are five more dream matches for Ali, not including Bryan and Almas (even though he’s yet to face Almas in singles competition).
