WWE Royal Rumble: Predicting All 30 Men’s Entrants After TLC
By Kyle Boris
13. Jordan Devlin
NXT UK has been a huge success so far and it would make sense for one of the key components of that success to get an opportunity in front of the entire WWE Universe. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate would also make fine choices to represent the UK brand, but I went with the Irishman Jordan Devlin because he isn’t as well-known as the other two and this would be a great way to introduce him to audiences.
Devlin is a phenomenal talent with heaps of upside and getting to compete in a match of this caliber will only raise his stock. The comparisons to Finn Balor will most likely be there once again, but allowing Devlin to actually get in the ring with Balor could make for some fascinating sequences.
14. Jeff Hardy
The Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy is no stranger to Royal Rumble matches so expect him to make a splash, literally, while bringing much needed energy to the contest.
15. Apollo Crews
Apollo Crews has somewhat flew under the radar of late, but not in the way of just disappearing from television and not getting opportunities. It might seem like a small thing, but Crews seems to be getting a bit of a push on Raw.
At the TLC PPV, Crews was the first man shown when Braun Strowman said he had back-up in his match with Baron Corbin. Crews then teamed with Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable in the first match on Raw after the McMahons announced they were shaking things up.
I don’t think this was an accident by any means. Crews has been getting more chances to impress and I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a nice showing at the 2019 Royal Rumble.
16. Finn Balor
Finn Balor made it to the final four in 2018 after starting at #2. After being the Iron Man last year, I think Balor deserves to enter a bit later in the match. If the WWE is worried about the comparisons to Devlin taking over, they can even have Balor come out as The Demon in order to switch things up. Actually, either way, a Demon Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble sounds like something we all deserve.
