On tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Natalya will take on Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship after winning a thrilling Gauntlet Match in the main event of last week’s episode.

Tonight’s special, pre-taped episode of WWE Raw on Christmas Eve figures to be an enjoyable one, and I hope those of you who will tune in tonight at 8 p.m. ET have plenty of eggnog, pizza, candy canes, ice cream, and/or chocolate bars of some variety to hold you through all three action-packed hours.

Last week, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Triple H promised to “freshen” up the main roster product, and the first episode of Raw under his allegedly new direction didn’t disappoint. The episode was noticeably better than previous shows, which had led to tanked TV ratings that may have concerned WWE‘s upper brass.

We saw The Revival pick up a key victory to earn a shot at Chad Gable and Bobby Roode’s Raw Tag Team Championships, and then we saw eight women shine in the main event as part of a well-booked Gauntlet Match. Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ruby Riott, and more shined throughout, but it was Natalya who emerged victorious.

Tonight on Raw, Nattie will face off against her close friend Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship, and fans will be glued to the screen to see if this kickstarts an angle between the two of them. Following an emotional Tables match victory at TLC over Riott in which Natalya won for her father Jim Neidhart, Nattie is unlikely to turn heel, as was previously rumored. However, there could be something interesting brewing, even with Rousey already locked into an interesting storyline involving Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Seth Rollins has been the MVP of Raw this year, and while he already defeated Baron Corbin in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match on the go-home episode before TLC, he must battle the former GM-elect in singles competition tonight. Will Rollins roll to an easy victory, or will Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, who is fresh off of an “Open Challenge” victory over Tyler Breeze, get inside Seth’s head?

The Raw Tag Team Championships will also be on the line, as Gable and Roode will put their burgeoning partnership to the test against The Revival’s Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. When Wilder and Dawson are at the top of their games, they are almost impossible to stop. Can they put it all together tonight and rip the titles away from their robed opponents?

There’s plenty of bad blood between Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre, as all three men have interfered in each other’s singles matches in some way. This Triple Threat match threatens to steal the show, as all three men are among the best wrestlers on this planet.

Elias and Bobby Lashley have been going at it for quite some time, and Elias’s insults directed towards Lashley and his manager Lio Rush are worth tuning in for alone. Tonight, Elias will face Lashley in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, where shenanigans are sure to be aplenty.

The “card” for tonight’s WWE Raw looks stacked, so be sure to tune in at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network if you have some time to catch the action. Again, two titles will be on the line, and there’s an exciting Triple Threat match on tap, too.
