9. Baron Corbin
As a wrestler during his last few years on the main roster, there always seemed to be something missing with Baron Corbin. He was tall and he had a look, but it still felt like there was something Corbin was lacking to make him stand out among the roster. Who would’ve guessed that all Corbin needed to do was chop his locks and become the Head Boss In Charge of Raw to find that something?
With a World Champion virtually absent from Monday Night Raw for the most part, Constable Corbin took the reigns as the main heel we focused on week-to-week. With that much responsibility on his shoulders, Corbin had run with the ball that WWE gave him and has yet to drop it.
As Interim General Manager, Corbin has found a character that works for him perfectly and in the process has become a much more confident, believable talker on the mic than he was a year ago.
At times, Corbin would fall victim to bad booking and some big losses along the way, but in other instances, Corbin was able to give stellar performances that counteract whatever bad writing he was given to work with. When he was booked badly, Corbin struggled to get heat, but when he was booked well, he was the bad guy that everybody was dying to see get his comeuppance.
