WWE Royal Rumble 2019 will feature Raw’s Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman clashing for the Universal Championship, a Fatal-4-Way Cruiserweight Title match, and the respective Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumbles. To maintain tradition from last year’s Royal Rumble, the women’s titles may not be on the line.

“YOU ARE THE AUTHORITY!” The new era is here! New matchups! New feuds! New opportunities! As we travel on the road to WrestleMania, we encounter the very first WWE PPV of 2019, The Royal Rumble! Since the WWE fans are the Authority, they may actually get what they want starting now.

This could mean more NXT call-ups, like the ones already announced thus far (i.e. Lars Sullivan, Lacey Evans, Heavy Machinery, Nikki Cross, and EC3). Take a look….

This could mean a revitalization of 205 Live that was once barely promoted on a week-to-week basis. Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy is scheduled to defend his championship in a fatal-4-way match, so this could be the start of something new. Lio Rush has been managing Bobby Lashley on Raw, and his exposure on the red brand could help bring more viewership to the in-ring work on 205 Live.

This could also mean a reboot of the Raw Tag Team Division, the rebirth of U.S. Title Open Challenges, and the placement of WWE Championship matches in the main events of monthly PPVs.

In fact, this could even mean a full-time Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar has been a part-time Universal Champion for most of 2017-2018, and the majority of the WWE fanbase wants a fighting Universal Champion, like Braun Strowman, who is present and ready to wrestle every week on Raw and defend the title at every PPV throughout the calendar year.

Finally, it’s hard to forget the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumbles that guarantee the winners a main event title opportunity at WrestleMania 35. Without further ado, let’s predict the WWE Royal Rumble card as well as the winners for each match.
