WWE Champion Daniel Bryan has been on a roll with not only his title retention against AJ Styles at TLC 2018 but also with his new environmentalist gimmick, in which he makes everyone feel guilty about harming the environment whether it be through drinking from plastic water bottles and/or eating meat. In following, while the new Daniel Bryan is taking over, the real AJ Styles has just been unleashed. This is a sign that Styles is not yet finished with Bryan. However, he is not the only one who wants a piece of Bryan.

Mustafa Ali has also been perceived as a major player on the main roster due to his recent build up, especially after pinning the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan last week in a tag match with AJ Styles in the main event of SmackDown Live. Since both men have reasons for targeting Daniel Bryan, I foresee a triple threat WWE Championship match happening at the Royal Rumble. In terms of the winner, neither Styles nor Ali should win this match. Ali just stepped foot onto the main event scene of SmackDown Live, and it would be too early to give him the belt. Meanwhile, Styles has already held the belt for most of the year. Daniel Bryan should unquestionably retain the title and hopefully walk into WrestleMania 35 as the champion.
