10. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch

Out of the ashes of an enormously entertaining mid-card feud emerged this bizarre and wonderful tag team. Wild-eyed bruiser Oney Lorcan buried the hatchet with big tough Brit Danny Burch and the two opted to join forces.

Both completely random and somehow totally perfect, uniting these Angry Bald Men was a great decision: neither had really had the opportunity to shine in singles competition despite being individually talented. As a team, they have a certain synchronicity which allows them to maximise their unique selling point: being really, really tough.

Lorcan and Burch are bona-fide hard men, a pair of brutal bruisers whose punishing offence should surely make mincemeat of all but the strongest of opponents. They proved this beyond doubt in their stunning match against Undisputed Era at NXT TakeOver Chicago II.

With Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong on the opposite side of the ring, this was a hard-hitting, bone-shattering affair, showcasing the strength, endurance and sheer bloody-mindedness of both teams.

Undisputed Era had nothing to prove, but for Lorcan and Burch, this was an opportunity to show that they belonged on the big stage. And man, did they deliver.

Ultimately, Lorcan and Burch couldn’t quite overcome Undisputed Era and their infinite bag of tricks, but there was no shame in their loss.

Their performance earned them a well-deserved ovation from the Chicago crowd, cementing their position as one of NXT’s most exciting new tag teams.

And if the broken orbital Lorcan sustained during the match derailed their momentum a little, well – War Raiders are going to need some legitimate competition once they claim the titles, and this pair of absolute madmen will be more than ready to bash some heads.
