3. Shayna Baszler

One of NXT’s most accomplished and ruthless superstars today, Shayna Baszler seems primed for a Royal Rumble debut in 2019.

Its only a matter of time before WWE pulls the trigger on Baszler’s main roster debut. She’s NXT’s first two-time Women’s Champion, arguably one of the most improved wrestlers on the brand in 2018, and has a built-in storyline with Ronda Rousey that’s fit for a grand stage.

In short, there’s no reason for Baszler to stick around in NXT any longer. There’s simply nothing left for her to accomplish there.

Therefore, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see Shayna Baszler receive a massive spotlight in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Baszler needs an impactful introduction to the main roster ranks, one that makes it immediately clear that she could threaten the whole division alone, or with The Four Horsewomen of MMA. An extended showing in a Royal Rumble match that saw her eliminate multiple stars of the main roster is just the kind of debut she needs.

In fact, I wouldn’t even be shocked to see Baszler make it to be one of the prestigious final four competitors in her Royal Rumble match.

After all, there’s a real chance she leaves NXT Takeover: Phoenix without her Women’s Championship, given the fact she’s fighting an incredibly game Bianca Belair in what could be a changing of the guard in the brand’s women’s division.

Without a championship to tie her back to NXT, a full main roster debut that saw her make an instant impact could then most certainly be in the cards for ‘The Queen of Spades.’
