Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Carmella Trade Jabs on Twitter

We have all seen what Becky Lynch is capable of on Twitter, and now it seems that her competition is attempting to come right back at her.

With Becky Lynch set to face off against Carmella and Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live in a #1 Contender’s Match, the trio took to Twitter to take their feud to the next level.

It all started, believe it or not, with Lynch taking a presumed shot at her rival Charlotte Flair. Lynch wanted to make it clear that she got to where she is not because of her name or her family heritage.

Lynch has gotten so good at Twitter, that she’s even able to take down two of her enemies at once. When she mentions parachuting in from another sport, we can assume she’s talking about Ronda Rousey, whom she has unfinished business with.

That seemed to be the end of it all until Carmella decided that she would take Lynch’s comments and add her own twist to it.

To be fair, like Lynch, Carmella made a good point. The former champion doesn’t get the same respect as the ladies of the Four Horsewomen or Ronda Rousey even though her accolades are more similar than one might originally think.

Carmella currently holds the #30 spot in the Royal Rumble after winning the Mixed Match Challenge alongside R-Truth. She could also put herself in a great spot if she’s able to win the #1 Contender’s Match. She’ll have a match with Asuka for the Women’s Title and if she fails, she’ll still have a chance later on in the Women’s Royal Rumble.

It didn’t take much longer after Carmella’s response for Charlotte Flair to chime in defend her legacy.

Charlotte took a page out of Eminem’s book in 8 Mile and claimed she knows all about the things that people have said about her. She knows where she came from and she knows she’s had opportunities at her finger tips. However, that doesn’t mean she didn’t just sit there and not work to get to the level that she is at.

“The Queen” is one of the more accomplished superstars on the roster and has done so because of her hard work, dedication and desire to be the best in the world. Yes, she came from a wrestling family, but many superstars do. However, not all of them have accomplished what Charlotte has accomplished.

It’s obvious that Charlotte also has the respect of her peers, as former Women’s Champion Gail Kim even chimed in to give her opinion on the situation.

If you thought Becky Lynch would let Charlotte have the last word, well you were sadly mistaken. Lynch put on her detective hat and somehow discovered the truth about Charlotte’s outfit in the picture she attached to her Tweet.

Lynch is obviously on another level when it comes to social media, but it’s good to know that her competitors aren’t afraid to back down. In the end, all of this has only added to the interest in the trio’s #1 Contender’s Match and it will be interesting to see how everything plays out.
